Yuen Yum San is internationally regarded as an outstanding educator of young musicians. She has successfully set up string programmes in the UK, Hong Kong and Australia. Appointed Principal Music Educator at the University of Tasmania in 2010, Yuen Yum developed a vibrant junior string programme. She is a guest violinist with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, member of Diemen Quartet and on the faculty of Tutti World Youth Music Festival, Beijing. Yuen Yum was a member of the London Orchestra of St John's Smith Square. She graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1986.
