Joseph has also had the good fortune to work with some of the world's best guitarists overseas including Carlos Bonell, Paul Galbraith, Pavel Stiedl, Dennis Azabagic, Timothy Kain, Jason Vieaux, Miles Okazaki and Dusan Bogdanovic.

In 2007, Joseph received first class honours under a scholarship at the Sydney Conservatorium. Since then he has been involved in a wide variety of musical projects. In 2016 he recorded an album of his own transcriptions of works for strings by the late Gyorgy Ligeti after touring them in the U.S. and Europe the previous year.  This year he has also performed with the AOBO, started an ensemble, Polysema, which performs his own compositions, toured on several cruise liners and has led a long running weekly jazz gig in Sydney’s Inner West.

Joseph has previously performed with Sydney's top contemporary classical groups including Ensemble Offspring, Halcyon and the Sydney Chamber Opera company. He has performed and recorded with baroque music ensembles and personalities such as Salut Baroque and recordist Alicia Crossley.  He has composed for and performed with TaikOz, has composed for several theatre productions and he plays with a variety of jazz and African music groups.

Joseph began teaching guitar while still studying at university in 2004. Since then he has coached guitarists attending the Sydney Conservatorium and has held a number of teaching positions at schools including Cranbrook, KNOX Grammar School, St. Andrew's Cathedral School and MLC School in Burwood.  He teaches a large variety of styles and will accommodate for individual student's tastes while giving a solid foundation in essential technique and musicianship.
