Jeanell Carrigan studied in Australia, Germany and Switzerland. Her concert schedule includes recitals and chamber performances for Musica Viva and broadcasts for the ABC. Jeanell has performed as a duo recitalist with some of Australia's finest musicians and has released ten disc set of Australian solo piano music. She was repeatedly invited to direct the piano programme at National Music Camp and appeared there in a number of chamber performances including a recital with the renowned cellist Bernard Greenhouse. Jeanell holds a Doctorate of Creative Arts in Music Performance from the University of Wollongong and has published a performing guide to Australian solo piano music published by the Australian Music Centre. Jeanell is currently a Lecturer in Ensemble Studies at the Sydney Conservatorium and continues to expand her discography with recordings of Australian music for solo piano and performances with her husband and duo partner Goetz Richter.
