Since beginning his career at age sixteen, Sam Leske has worked across a variety of genres including pop, rock, jazz, country and blues. He has performed or recorded with artists such as Peter Combe, Shoshana Bean (US), Eddie Perfect and Rachel Beck. He has also worked in musical theatre and cabaret as a guitarist, arranger and musical director with Bob Downe, Tommy Bradson and Tim Campbell. He has also worked with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in specialist programs, making him one of the most versatile young guitarists in the country.

In 2009, Sam travelled with new Australian musical ‘Metro Street’ (Matthew Robinson) to Daegu, Korea after its successful season in Adelaide with the State Theatre Company. This led to Sam working closely with Australian icon Debra Byrne across the next few years, where he honed his skills as an acoustic guitar accompanist. He continues to be in demand as a cross-genre guitar accompanist. In addition to this, Sam released his own album ‘Waiting’ in 2011.

Adding to his touring regime over the past number of years, Sam has travelled internationally to Europe and the UK with Adelaide based folk/jazz/pop group, ‘Vincent’s Chair’.

Each year, Sam is the musical director, chief arranger and guitarist for ‘Carols in the Park’ a large Christmas production that attracts over 30,000 people.

Sam can also be found at his recording studio, ‘The Lair’ or other studios around Adelaide, where he works as a freelance session guitarist, arranger and producer.
